Join JCADA's Director of Clinical Supervision, Andrea Ortiz, for an interactive, skill-building session exploring how to respond to harm and support others with courage and compassion. Together, we’ll explore real-life scenarios and learn practical tools for speaking up, intervening with compassion, and strengthening our communities’ capacity to respond before harm escalates.
Lo Ta’amod Al Dam Rei’echa (Do not stand idly by the blood of your neighbor) is a mandate to intervene in the face of harm. This series explores how we, as individuals and as communities, can respond to abuse with courage, compassion, and accountability. “We Will Not Stand By” is more than a theme - it is a spiritual and ethical stance. We draw from Lo Ta’amod to affirm that silence is complicity, and that communities must cultivate courage, tools, and trust to intervene before harm escalates. This work requires both soul-searching and skill-building - and is open to all who are ready to engage.
